The Fernwren (Oreoscopus gutturalis) is a species of bird in the Pardalotidae family. It ismonotypic within the genus Oreoscopus.
It is endemic to northern Queensland in Australia. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropicalmoist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
