The Little Sparrowhawk (Accipiter minullus) is a species of bird of prey in theAccipitridae family. It is found in AngolaBotswanaBurundiDemocratic Republic of the CongoEritreaEthiopiaKenyaLesothoMalawiMaliMozambiqueNamibiaRwanda,SomaliaSouth AfricaSudanSwazilandTanzaniaUgandaZambia, and Zimbabwe. This bird measures 20 to 25 cm (7.9 to 9.8 in) in length (about half of which is comprised by its tail), span 39–52 cm (15–20 in) across the wings and weighs around 85 g (3.0 oz). It is the world's smallest Accipiter and is possibly the smallest member of the diverse Accipitridae family.
