The Pygmy Eagle or New Guinea Hawk-Eagle (Hieraaetus morphnoides weiskei) is a species ofbird of prey in the Accipitridae family. It is found in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its naturalhabitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is considered a subspecies of the Little Eagle, but some taxonomists separate it into a distinct species.
