The Yellow-lored Bristlebill or Lesser Bristlebill (Bleda notatus) is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It was formerly lumped with the Green-tailed Bristlebill (Bleda eximius) but is now often considered to be a separate species.
The western form B. n. notatus is found in northern Angola, Cameroon, south-west Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, western Democratic Republic of the Congo,Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and south-east Nigeria. Further east, B. n. ugandae occurs in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, southern Sudan, north-west Tanzania and Uganda. It may be a separate species, the Yellow-eyed Bristlebill (Bleda ugandae).
