The Red-tailed Bristlebill or Common Bristlebill (Bleda syndactylus) is a species of songbird in the Pycnonotidae family. It is found in Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan, Tanzania,Uganda, and Zambia. Its natural habitats are tropical moist lowland and montane forests and tropical moist shrubland.
